Stretching my range...

I have been studying under one of my long-time coaches, Anthony Grasso again for the last few weeks.
I love his classes - he is a working actor - and he shares such profound insights with us.

My challenge has been remaining still on camera.

Anthony decided to stretch my range with a scene from the 70's film "Klute".  I play Bree - an actress who moonlights as a high-class call girl.

I had such a breakthrough last night - and was able to come up with some of my best work to date.

Check it out!  I am so thrilled with what I was able to bring to the table with this role.

Lost footage from TV6's "Prissy Troopers"

I have been doing a huge revamp of all social media... I came across a video from the Trinidadian travel series "Prissy Troopers". This was filmed in the town of Brasso Seco in Trinidad. In the meantime - check out my YouTube Channel to see some more new videos! www.youtube.com/becfordyce

Needless to say, Jason fell in love with location.  It is an incredibly versatile space - and the natural light that comes through in the afternoon is astounding. Jason also had a spare dress with him - and my Brazilian room mate, Patricia came home just in time to be a bride, too!  We threw her in the deep end, but she rose to the challenge, and had a ball.  (You can read a bit about that in an earlier post of mine  http://becfordyce.blogspot.com/2010/05/magicland.html  and see a shot of her with Jason in the loft) The next stop was the famous Magicland rooftop.  We waited for the sun to go down a bit to get the per

Black Canary Shoot with HJ Film World in Bushwick, Brooklyn

Early in June, I had the absolute pleasure of collaborating with Hasan Ali in Bushwick on his Superhero series. He cast me as Black Canary from Justice League - and the results are epic to say the least!
