I braved the cold in January, 2012 to fulfill my ultimate childhood fantasy... To be a mermaid! DIS Magazine made that dream a (sort of) reality for an afternoon! We created stock images of Mermaids (and Mermen) doing ordinary things at home... Check out the final results and story here: http://dismagazine.com/dystopia/evolved-lifestyles/43180/mer-life/
I had the pleasure of reuniting with most of the cast and crew from "Lost Hero". "KGD 2" was filmed in Rahway, NJ and Astoria, NY. Here are some behind the scenes stills! I also did double-duty on this project - I was a makeup artist, too. You can view my makeup work at http://makeupbybecfordyce.com/tumblr
Shot this one a while back up in West Hampton Jason Knobloch was at the helm of this project. You can check out the official video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NABKbd_SdMc OR... I was featured as a Sugar Skull in Alternative Revolution Magazine Here is the tear sheet and I couldn't resist sharing some other shots from the session! ...the best part of this shoot? Traveling home on the train in NYC. Nobody really noticed or cared. There is always a bigger weirdo out there than you!
Had an amazing time pretending I was a cast member of "Grease"! I worked with Chad Sapp and Rachel Kaplove as part of New York City's PHOTO PLUS. We were showcasing the new Nikon cameras. We had a fully functioning set that we were able to perform and dance in all day!
This shoot was an insane project. NYC socialite, Kayvon Zand collaborated with Mike Ruiz to direct his debut single's music video. Check out the video! I am wearing the white collar. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2iyvyPKA4aQ Huge thanks to Mika Kenyah of Sugar and Spikes for booking me this gig!
Really cold day of shooting! We were originally scheduled to shoot out at Randall's Island (NYC) - but ended up going to Jersey to film. I worked with the incredible Tatu Baby. She did me up as a leopard. Check out the episode on Amazon Prime - Season 3 Episode 6 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EORF0O6/ref=atv_feed_catalog?tag=imdb-amazonvideo-20 Huge thanks to Mika Kenyah of Sugar and Spikes for booking me this gig!
